Volunteers
Volunteers are the foundation to the success, safety and enjoyment of supporting and growing the sport of triathlon. If you have attended a race in Manitoba, the festive and community atmosphere is because of the Triathlon Manitoba volunteers. Triathlon Manitoba is committed to treating our volunteers with respect, providing meaningful, enjoyable and challenging opportunities and recognizing their contributions.
Most coaches, officials, race marshals, race administrators, board and committee members are volunteers. Triathlon Manitoba needs parents to become involved as marshals and other roles to conduct a race at Kids of Steel, and junior events; current members to become officials; and for those experienced in the sport with an interest in the sport’s development, to become coaches.’

A Volunteer of the Year award is given annually to member(s) that have shown a significant contribution and dedication to volunteerism to triathlon in Manitoba. Nominate a member Volunteer by completing and submitting a nomination form.
For a list of recent award winners since the inaugural award in 2015, see the Triathlon Manitoba Awards.
