SUMMARY:2026 Next Gen Program - Summer
DESCRIPTION:Next Gen Program\nThe Next Gen Program is brand new for 2026\, Triathlon Manitoba is offering a progressive training program for those who are ready to move beyond the basics\, and start training with more intention \nSession will follow a structured\, periodized plan to develop fitness\, race skills\, and transition technique in a deliberate sequence designed to see athlete improvement throughout the summer. \nRunning from June 1 to August 19\, sessions take place every Monday and Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 PM at Birds Hill Park (East Beach Area)\, with workouts focused on swimming\, biking\, and running\, while also learning how to move between each segment of a triathlon. \nNext Gen training helps aspiring young triathletes build skills and experience triathlon in a fun and supportive environment led by experienced coaches who bring firsthand competitive experience\, passion\, and a shared commitment to helping young athletes fall in love with triathlon. \nMeet your Coaches \nClaire Healey is a graduate of the MTC Program\, current medical student\, and a multiple Canada Games competitor who also served as the Team Manager for Triathlon Manitoba at the 2022 Canada Summer Games. \nDarian Hole is a graduate of the MTC Program who represented Team Manitoba at the 2013 Canada Summer Games\, and has been Mission Staff for the 2023\, and 2025 Canada Games\, bringing a wealth of experience from years in sport. \n\n\n\nProgram Details\n\n\n\nDates\nEvery Monday & Wednesday\, June 1 – August 19\n\n\nTime\n6:30 PM – 8:30 PM\n\n\nLocation\nBirds Hill Park\, East Beach Area\n\n\nAges\n10 to 16 years\n\n\nNext Gen\n$180 for the full summer\n\n\nMembership\nAnnual membership required\n\n\n\nEquipment needed: Swimsuit\, running shoes\, exercise wear\, a road bike\, and helmet.
