SUMMARY:Annual General Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The AGM is scheduled for Wednesday\, October 23rd\, 2019 from 6:00 pm at the Sport Manitoba Building\, 145 Pacific Avenue. \nOur AGM will take place a bit later this year\, but is once again schedule to take place immediately before the Annual Awards Dinner.  A discount will be offered on tickets to the Awards Dinner for those who attend the AGM.  The Agenda and key items will be added below for review prior to the meeting. \n2019 AGM Agenda\n2018 AGM Minutes DRAFT \nThe Triathlon Manitoba Board of Directors will have a number of positions to fill this year.  If you would like to help ensure the success of our sport\, there’s no better place to make a contribution.  The deadline for nominations to the board was Wednesday\, October 16th\, with the following nominations received: \nNominees for Board of Directors (two needed)\n– Nafisa Curle\n– David Markham \nNominees for President\n– John Gray\n– Chris Kitchen \nProxy Forms are available to those members unable to attend who would still like to vote.  Completed forms must be submitted by Monday\, October 21st at end of day. \nFinally\, our Annual Awards Dinner will be held immediately following the AGM – expected to start at 7:30 pm on Wednesday\, October 23rd.  The dinner offers a great chance to recognize the outstanding achievements and contributions made throughout 2019 in our sport.  Information about ticket sales will be posted shortly\, but nominations for award recipients are already open.  Our sport is filled with so many incredible people – please take the time to nominate someone you feel is deserving of celebration! \n
