DESCRIPTION:Kick off your spring racing in 2022 with three weeks of racing at the April Run Series!\nFor 2022\, we are excited to offer a return to in-person racing at Assiniboine Park with the required Covid-19 safety protocols in effect. We are also offering a virtual option for participants that prefer this format. In case the in-person race series cannot be held due to Covid-19 restrictions\, we will transfer you to the virtual event and provide a partial refund. \nIMPORTANT: At this time\, you must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 to participate in the in-person events. If MB Health no longer requires proof of vaccination before the event\, we will change our requirements accordingly. \nFebruary 15\, 2022 Update – Due to recent changes in Public Heath Orders\, Proof of vaccination against COVID-19 will no longer be required to register for the in-person events. We are now able to accept all registrations regardless of vaccination status. Proof of vaccination will not be required at Kit pick up. \nThe format of the 2022 Patrick Riddell April Run Series is the same as before: a 2 km fun run series\, a 5 km series\, and a 5-10-15 km build series. The in-person races are on Sunday April 3\, 10 and 17. Our volunteer coordinator will be in touch with you – Volunteer Race 1: April 3 \nThe April Run Series – An MTC Fundraiser\nThe Manitoba Triathlon Centre is excited to host the annual April Run Series in Assiniboine Park each year as our primary club fundraiser.  Proceeds from the race help offset program costs such as equipment\, facilities and travel.  The Manitoba Triathlon Centre program offers training for youth\, junior and U23 athletes looking to develop their triathlon skills and compete at an elite level.  Athletes who got their start in the MTC program include 2016 Olympians Tyler Mislawchuk and Sarah-Anne Brault. \n\n\n  \nMRA Series Awards\nResults from the Patrick Riddell April Run Series p/b Red River Co-op count towards the Manitoba Runners Association Youth Series and Classic Series.\n \n\n\n
