DESCRIPTION:\nThe Event\nFor the last five years\, the wildest Winnipeggers have beaten the cold so others don’t have to. \n​Everyone involved is excited to welcome you onto Winnipeg’s amazing river trails at The Forks this February.  The race will include a 5 kilometre run\, bike and skate\, with registration options for individuals and relay teams.  Join us in all your layers\, with all your friends\, and help raise funds for 1JustCity and their emergency overnight shelter\, Just a Warm Sleep. \nCOURSE MAPS \nClick the registration link below for additional race information on registration fees and race-day schedule. \n  \nREGISTER \n​​ \n\n\n \n\n\n\nThe Cause\nYour participation (100% of the profits) will help support 1JustCity’s overnight emergency warming centre\, Just a Warm Sleep. \nEvery night from November through March\, Just a Warm Sleep invites people experiencing homelessness into Oak Table to get a safe\, warm sleep. This program supports up to 30 people experiencing homelessness nightly. \nBeat the Cold is presented by 1JustCity and TriFactor Triathlon Club. \n\n
