SUMMARY:Hecla Triathlon
DESCRIPTION:2019 Hecla Triathlon \n​The Hecla Triathlon will take place in Hecla\, Manitoba\, July 20\, 2019.  This race started in 2015 and has continued to grow and evolve each year since\, and is now home to Manitoba’s only Long Course race. \nThe event is popular\, with an approx. 200 racers\, of which we expect to have more athletes out this year to compete for their 2020 World qualifying race position on the Canadian National Team.  This race won’t disappoint\, with tremendous athlete support to ensure the day goes smoothly. \nWhy Hecla? \n\n\nThe swim course is protected by the marina\, guarding from what can be an unpredictable Lake Winnipeg\, and the run to T1 (~650m) will allow you to shake out your sea legs in prep for your bike. \n\n\n​The bike course is flat and fast\, lock and load\, and keep your eyes open for wildlife! \n\n\nMoving onto the run\, you will experience both road and trail\, skirting the marina and resort\, and hugging the lake. \n\n\nThis course will provide you both a physically and mentally challenging race\, packed with stunning vistas all showcasing the beauty of the island. \n\n\nRegister Here\n  \n\n\n\nRace Distances\n March 1\nApril 1\nJune 1\n\n\nIndividual Long Course – Triathlon and Aquabike\n$120\n$130\n$140\n\n\nIndividual Olympic and Sprint – Triathlon\,  Aquabike\, and Duathlon\n$65\n$75\n$85\n\n\nRelay Long Course – Triathlon and Aquabike\n$60\n$70\n$80\n\n\nRelay Olympic and Sprint – Triathlon and Aquabike\n$45\n$55\n$65\n\n\n\n\n
