SUMMARY:Intro to Triathlon Swimming
DESCRIPTION:SOLD OUT for 2024\nA new program for 2024\, designed to get athletes on the start line for their first Triathlon event. \nThis 10-week program is designed to build form\, fitness and confidence – taking athletes from bobbing to propelling.  At the end of the 10 weeks\, each athlete should be ready to graduate their training to the standard TriMB Swim Program or another Masters swim program. \nProgram workouts will take place Monday and Wednesday evenings\, from 8:00 – 9:00 pm.  Workouts run from Monday\, January 15 to Wednesday\, March 20\, 2024. \nProgram spaces are limited to only 15 swimmers – to ensure that each athlete has lots of support from our coaching staff. \nNOTE – Our number one question from athletes about this program is what is the pre-requisite swim level?? \nThis program is not intended as a ‘learn to swim’ program.  All swimmers should be able to swim 100m without stopping before starting the program.  Put another way – you should be able to pass the test to enter the deep end at any public pool.  That doesn’t need to be a beautiful freestyle swim stroke (that’s where the program coaches can help)\, but our coaches are meant to be there helping you improve your form and efficiency\, not to rescue anyone. \nREGISTER \nNote – Admission to the pool is included in the registration. \n \n
