SUMMARY:Triple Threat Triathlon
DESCRIPTION:\nTriple Threat Triathlon Club is excited to host the first outdoor triathlon of the 2023 Triathlon Manitoba season!  The event will also host the first Provincial Championship in Triathlon Manitoba History\, as well as the 2024 Age Group Worlds Qualifier for the Olympic Triathlon distance\, with the location of the World Championships to to be announced soon. \nFor more information on Triathlon Manitoba’s new for 2023 Provincial Championships\, please visit our news page. \nChallenge a Triathlon\, Duathlon\, Aquabike or Try-a-Tri at Birds Hill Provincial Park East Beach on June 11th.  You won’t need a Provincial Park Pass as our event is held during the annual free-pass weekend at Birds Hill Park. \nEvents to choose from: \nOlympic/Standard Triathlon*    1500m swim / 40 km bike / 10 km run \nOlympic / Standard Aquabike   1500m swim / 40 km bike \nSprint Triathlon                           750m swim / 26.6 km bike / 5 km run \nSprint Aquabike                          750m swim / 26.6 km bike \nSprint Duathlon                          3 km run / 26.6 km bike / 5 km run \nTry-a-Tri                                      300 m swim / 13 km bike / 3 km run \n*World Age Group Qualifier & Provincial Championship \nRace Day Check-in and Transition will open at 6:00 a.m. and will close at 7:00 a.m. The first event starts at 7:45 a.m. \nDue to requirements of the Park\, the bike course must close at 10:00 a.m.  Therefore the last loop of the bike course must be started before 9:40 a.m.  After 9:40 a.m.\, participants will be instructed to either end their race or remove their bib and timing chip to continue the course.  If continuing on the course\, athletes will do so at their own risk and will not be considered part of the race.  Results will show Did Not Finish (DNF) for the race. \nAthletes of all abilities or gender-identity are welcome to compete at the Triple Threat Triathlon at Birds Hill Race. \nIn the case of severe circumstances (i.e. pandemic\, lightening\, high winds\, flooding\, and other natural events) the race(s) may be modified or cancelled if athlete safety is at risk.  In the event the weather is not suitable for swimming\, the race may be changed to a duathlon.  In the case of race cancellation\, registration fees will not be refunded. \n  \nREGISTER \n\n  \nTo be eligible for World Championship Qualification in the Olympic Distance event\, you must complete an Expression of Interest PRIOR to the event on June 11th \nEXPRESSION OF INTEREST \n  \n\n \nIncluded in your registration: \nRace Kit with customized TTTC race bib\nRun Course Aid Stations\nPost-race recovery food\nChance to win draw prizes\nEarly Bird Bonus!  First 125 Registrants will receive a customized race belt.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEvent Registration Fee\n\nEarly Bird Until\nApril 30\n\n\n Regular\nMay 1-31\n\n     Late           June 1-5\nRace Day Walk-up\n\n\nOlympic Triathlon\n$75\n$95\n$105\n$125\n\n\nSprint Triathlon\n$75\n$95\n$105\n$125\n\n\nOlympic Aqua Bike\n     $75\n$95\n $105\n$125\n\n\n\n\nSprint Aqua Bike\n$75\n$95\n$105\n$125\n\n\nSprint Duathlon\n$75\n$95\n$105\n $125\n\n\nTry-a-Tri\n      $40\n $40\n$50\n$50\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNote:  Above fees do not include Triathlon Manitoba membership or CCN Processing fees.  Registration fees are not refundable. \n\n
