SUMMARY:Women's Duathlon - #1
DESCRIPTION:MaTRIarchy Triathlon Club is excited to host one of our most popular pre-season events\, with a great\, supportive atmosphere and prizes for a fun overall experience.  These races are ideal for newcomers looking to try out our sport in a safe and supportive (and warm) environment. There are two identical events\, four weeks apart.  Sign up for one or both to see your progress. \nDistances:\nShort Course – 1k Run / 8k Bike / 1k Run\nOR\nLong Course – 2k Run / 12k Bike / 2k Run \nRace 1 – Saturday\, January 17th\nRace 2 – Saturday\, February 14th \nEach Run will take place on the indoor track at the Sport MB Fitness Centre. The Bike portion will be completed on stationary bikes provided by the facility. \nThough these events are named the Women’s Duathlon Series\, we invite people of various gender identities and expressions who want to experience our sport in a safe and supportive environment.  The minimum age to participate is 12 years old.  There is no maximum age! \nEvent entry is $25 for TriMB members or $35 without a membership. \nREGISTER MORE INFO \nRaces will take place at the Sport MB Fitness Centre\, at 145 Pacific Avenue\, which has indoor parking at the facility. Registrants are asked to check-in between 5:30 and 5:45 pm\, with the first race starting at 6:00 pm. \nCLICK HERE for additional information of what to expect on race day and possible relay options. \n \n
