SUMMARY:2022 Annual General Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The AGM is scheduled for Thursday October 13th\, from 6:00 pm at the Sport Manitoba Building\, 145 Pacific Avenue. \nThe 2022 season finally saw a return to in-person racing.  Triathlon Manitoba\, under the direction of our board\, invested in new equipment and initiatives to help make this season a success\, but we know there is still a lot of work that remains to bring us back to our pre-pandemic levels\, and then to reach beyond those levels to achieve the goals we set for our sport. \nPlease join us at this year’s AGM to lend your voice to these discussions and help us make a stronger and better sport. \n2022 AGM Agenda\n2021 AGM Minutes \nThe Triathlon Manitoba Board of Directors will have a number of positions to fill this year.  If you would like to help ensure the success of our sport\, there’s no better place to make a contribution.  The deadline for nominations to the board is Thursday\, October 6th\, with the following positions to fill: \nVice-President – Trevor Penner is nominated\nTreasurer – Christine McKinley is nominated\nBoard of Directors (x2) – Rick Champagne and Allison Reville are nominated \n2022 Board of Directors Nomination Form \nProxy Forms are available to those members unable to join the call\, but would still like to vote.  Completed forms must be submitted via e-mail or mail by Thursday\, October 6th at end of day.  As per 4.9 Proxy Restrictions – No individual can hold more than one proxy vote for one specific meeting of members. \n  \nOur Annual Awards Dinner will be held immediately following the AGM – expected to start at 7:30 pm on Thursday\, October 13th. The dinner offers a great chance to recognize the outstanding achievements and contributions made throughout 2022 in our sport.  Our sport is filled with so many incredible people – please take the time to nominate someone you feel is deserving of celebration! \n

DESCRIPTION:The Awards Dinner is scheduled for Thursday October 13th\, 2022 from 7:30 pm at the Sport Manitoba Building\, 145 Pacific Avenue. \nOur Awards Dinner will take place immediately after the Annual General Meeting.  A discount is offered to those who attend the AGM\, so please join us from 6:00 pm\, to add your voice to our sport and save a bit on dinner too. \nThe dinner offers a great chance to recognize and celebrate the outstanding achievements in our sport throughout 2022\, as we also celebrate our return to sport in general and those who made it happen.  All that makes this year feel a bit more special\, so we’re stepping our dinner up a level too. \nUrban Prairie Cuisine will be catering this year’s dinner\, with the following menu:\n \nNOTE – While the buffet options accommodate vegetarians\, we ask you to contact us at the office if you would like to request a vegan dinner\, which Urban Prairie will also provide. \nREGISTER \nFinally\, to ensure we’re awarding those most deserving of recognition\, please take the time to nominate an Athlete\, Coach\, Volunteer or Official you feel is deserving of celebration! \n
