SUMMARY:2023 May Kids Clinic
DESCRIPTION:Triathlon Manitoba’s Kids Program continues to build towards the summer races with our May Clinic. \nSessions will consist of a swim workout at the Pan Am Pool\, followed by an outdoor run/fitness workout at the Grant Park track (next door to the pool). \nWhen: Every Saturday from May 6 – May 27\nTime: 10:00 am – 12:00 p.m.\nLocation: Pan Am Pool and Grant Park track \nPrice: $40 (must have a Triathlon Manitoba membership $10) \nREGISTER \nAs a compliment to these sessions\, we encourage Kids Program athletes to participate in the Birds Hill Duathlon series\, on May 9th\, May 16th & May 23rd. \n

DESCRIPTION:Gear up towards Summer with Duathlons in May\nOne of Canada’s longest running multisport series\, the Birds Hill Duathlon in the Park Series returns for 2023. \nWhether you’re taking your first steps into the sport or a seasoned vet getting ready for big summer goals\, the chance to challenge yourself on Tuesday nights is a perfect way to start the outdoor season!! \nRaces take place across three Tuesdays in May:\nWeek 1 – Tuesday\, May 9th\nWeek 2 – Tuesday\, May 16th\nWeek 3 – Tuesday\, May 23rd \nEach week\, there are three events to choose from\, catering to all age levels: \n \n​Registration costs of only $10 for kids and $20 for adults\, it’s never been easier to get into racing.  All you need is a bike\, helmet and running shoes and your Tuesday evening’s in May can be the start of an amazing summer. \nRegister on the link below and we’ll see you on Tuesday! \n  \nREGISTER\nRegistration closes Sunday at midnight prior to each Tuesday event. \n  \nRaces take place at the East Beach Parking Lot at Birds Hill Park\, with the following schedule for each evening: \n5:00 pm – Transition & Race Kit Pick-up Open\nNOTE – No Race-Day Registration – Online Only\n6:15 pm – Transition & Race Kit Pick-up Close\n6:30 pm – Pre-Race Meeting for all distances\n6:45 pm – Kids Short Race Begins\n7:05 pm – Adult Event Begins\n7:07 pm – Kids Long Race Begins \nWhen you arrive proceed to race kit pickup for bib and timing chip\, rack your bike\, set up your transition area and wait for the race meeting. \n
