SUMMARY:Kids Fall & Winter Program
DESCRIPTION:Train like a Triathlete Year-Round!\n\n  \nOur Kids Fall & Winter Program runs October to April\, providing young athletes with the opportunity to participate in sport specific workouts led by great coaches. \nWinter sessions will take place Saturdays at Pan Am Pool from 9:00 to 11:00 am.  Starting with a run fitness workout before moving to the pool for swim training.  The program is designed to develop fitness and strength for all three sports. \nThe program is targeted at youth 8 – 12 years of age (Birth years 2011 – 2016). \nAnnika Niblock and Darian Hole will continue as our program coaches. \nDarian is a former MTC athlete\, having competed as part of Team Manitoba at the 2013 Canada Summer Games\, and he brings a wealth of experience from his years in the sport.  Annika is a graduate of the TriMB Youth & MTC Programs\, competed in triathlon at the 2019 Western Canada Summer Games and is currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Studies at U of M. \nOur coaches are keen to help a next generation of athletes fall in love with triathlon by sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm for our sport. \nREGISTER \nRegistration Categories:\nDecember 2023 to April 20\, 2024 – $120 \nA 2024 Triathlon Season membership must be purchased with each Kids Program Registration\, which provides insurance for all workout participants\, as well as a racing licence for the season ahead.  The Kids of Steel memberships are $10\, plus CCN processing fees. \nThe video below gives a great idea of what to expect at our Kids Program. \n \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:The AGM is scheduled for Tuesday October 17th\, from 5:30 pm at the Sport Manitoba Building\, 145 Pacific Avenue.\nAt the end of each season\, Triathlon Manitoba’s Annual General Meeting provides an opportunity to reflect on our successes as well as our struggles and direction as a sport.  The AGM gives every one of our members a chance to participate in these discussions and help us ensure our sport progresses in the best way possible – the way that reflects the desires and ambitions of our membership. \nPlease join us to lend your voice to these discussions and help us make a stronger and better sport. \n2023 AGM Agenda\n2022 AGM Minutes (Draft)\nBylaws (Draft) for adoption at 2023 AGM\n2022-23 Financial Statements \nThe Triathlon Manitoba Board of Directors will have a number of positions to fill this year.  If you would like to help ensure the success of our sport\, there’s no better place to make a contribution.  The deadline for nominations to the board is Tuesday\, October 10th\, with the following positions to fill: \nPresident – Paula Anderson is nominated\nBoard of Directors (x3) – Karen Sawatzky and Melissa Roberts are nominated \n2023 Board of Directors Nomination Form \nProxy Forms are available to those members unable to join the call\, but would still like to vote.  Completed forms must be submitted via e-mail or mail by Tuesday\, October 10th at end of day.  As per 4.9 Proxy Restrictions – No individual can hold more than one proxy vote for one specific meeting of members. \nAnnual Awards Dinner will be held immediately following the AGM – expected to start at 7:00 pm on Tuesday\, October 17th. The dinner offers a great chance to recognize the outstanding achievements and contributions made throughout 2023 in our sport.  Our sport is filled with so many incredible people – please take the time to nominate someone you feel is deserving of celebration \n
