Triathlon Manitoba Clubs
Strong clubs and teams are the backbone of our sport in Manitoba. These groups supply the community that makes our sport so special, while also providing excellent training options and organizing many of our local races.
Joining a club is an excellent way to get better connected to triathlon – providing opportunities to both give something back and get more out of the sport we love!
3rd Wave Triathlon Club
The 3rd Wave Tri Club is based out of Morden, and we take advantage of Lake Minnewasta and the surrounding trails for much of our training. We focus on training in the spring/summer, but members are encouraged to set up informal workout/training sessions anytime!
Our 2021 training schedule and membership fees have not yet been set. We are hopeful for a return to triathlon fun soon!

T3 Triathlon Club
The T3 Triathlon Club is a Canadian Forces triathlon club that is run through the military Base at 17 Wing Winnipeg. We are open to both military and civilian personnel and we are focused on helping triathletes in the local area to develop in the sport of triathlon in a safe, fun and supportive atmosphere.
Due to COVID restrictions, our 2021 training exists largely on Zwift and strength/core exercises via Facebook Messenger. In other years, the club normally has weekly spin classes available throughout the winter, some group swim times, and group bike rides in the summer. We also arrange several minor development clinics throughout the year (swim stroke clinic, running form clinic, etc).
Mandatory to purchase a membership for the military gym/rec center and there is an annual fee to cover TriMB/TriCanada membership, and a few administrative expenses. Details on the manner to pay these costs are available through club president.
Founders of Team goBert Triathlon are becoming sexagenarians (some already achieved this goal), and therefore, we have resolved following:
- Exercise is ‘fountain of youth’;
- Highly motivated to encourage and support one another’s fitness goals;
- Enjoy the camaraderie of participating together; and
- Fundraising for worthy causes.
We remain light-hearted, active and joyful, so we can contribute and support our community, families, charitable foundations and ourselves… gooooooo Bert!
