St Malo Triathlon
June 22
Consistently one of the most well-attended and well-received events on the Manitoba Calendar, the St Malo Triathlon takes place on Saturday, June 22nd, with Kids of Steel racing following on Sunday.
The adult races feature something for everyone – from the Olympic distance events have deep fields that get the best out of every athlete to the Try-a-Tri and Do-a-Du events to welcome newcomers.

Olympic Triathlon & Relay: 1,500m swim, 40 km bike, 10 km run
Olympic Aqua-Bike: 1,500m swim, 40 km bike, Done!
Sprint Triathlon* & Relay: 750m swim, 20 km bike, 5 km run
Sprint Aqua-Bike: 750m swim, 20 km bike, Done!
Sprint Duathlon: 2.5 km run, 20 km bike, 5 km run
Try-a-Tri: 300m swim, 10 km bike, 2.5 km run
Do-a-Du: 1.0 km run, 10 km bike, 2.5 km run
*Provincial Championship & Qualifier for 2025 Age Group World Championships in Wollongong, Australia.
To be eligible for World Championship Qualification in the Sprint Distance event, you must complete an Expression of Interest PRIOR to the event on June 24th.
Races this size need lots of volunteers to make them happen – 120 for Saturday’s event alone. If you or your crew want to help out, please consider volunteering to support either the Saturday Adult events or Sunday Kids races.
