2025 NCCP Coaching Course

Triathlon Manitoba is hosting an NCCP Community Triathlon Coach course.
Dates & Times: This is a two-day course that includes in-person learning and practical training.
Saturday, November 29: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (primarily classroom focus on Coaching modules)
Sunday, November 30: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (Coaching practical lessons)
Membership: 2025 Triathlon Manitoba Membership or membership in your home province is required to register for this course.

The NCCP Community Triathlon Coach is the starting point for triathlon coaches, and completion of Parts 1 and 2 is the primary requirement to run a sanctioned club, workout, clinic, or camp by Triathlon Manitoba.
The triathlon coaching pathway has recently been updated, so this is an entirely new course featuring new material and an updated practical component.
The whole course consists of Part 1 and Part 2. Coaches will need to complete both parts to be qualified. Part 1 includes the module “Coaching Beginners and Age Group Triathletes.” Part 2 contains the modules Coaching and Assessing Triathlon Skills and Coaching to Events and is delivered a two-day, in-person course. During Part 2, coaches will lead the mini-activities they planned in Part 1.
