Next Gen Program
The Next Gen Program is brand new for 2026, Triathlon Manitoba is offering a progressive training program for those who are ready to move beyond the basics, and start training with more intention
Session will follow a structured, periodized plan to develop fitness, race skills, and transition technique in a deliberate sequence designed to see athlete improvement throughout the summer.
Running from June 1 to August 19, sessions take place every Monday and Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 PM at Birds Hill Park (East Beach Area), with workouts focused on swimming, biking, and running, while also learning how to move between each segment of a triathlon.
Next Gen training helps aspiring young triathletes build skills and experience triathlon in a fun and supportive environment led by experienced coaches who bring firsthand competitive experience, passion, and a shared commitment to helping young athletes fall in love with triathlon.
Meet your Coaches
Claire Healey is a graduate of the MTC Program, current medical student, and a multiple Canada Games competitor who also served as the Team Manager for Triathlon Manitoba at the 2022 Canada Summer Games.
Darian Hole is a graduate of the MTC Program who represented Team Manitoba at the 2013 Canada Summer Games, and has been Mission Staff for the 2023, and 2025 Canada Games, bringing a wealth of experience from years in sport.

Equipment needed: Swimsuit, running shoes, exercise wear, a road bike, and helmet. If you do not have a road bike, but are interested in participating please reach out and we will try to help find you one.
