Rural Development Swim Clinic – Selkirk
November 23

Triathlon Manitoba is excited to host our second Rural Development Clinic in Selkirk, Manitoba. This new series is designed to bring high-quality coaching and learning opportunities to rural communities. The swim clinic is ideal for athletes who want to improve their swim technique in a supportive and structured environment.
Dates & Times:
Sunday, November 23, 2025 – 10:00 am to 2:00 pm – four hours total:
- 2 hours of pool time focusing on drills, skills, and stroke efficiency
- 2 hours in the classroom reviewing video feedback and key swim technique concepts
Lead Instructor:
The Rural Swim Clinics will be lead by Christine McKinley. During the last two seasons, Christine has coached Triathlon Manitoba’s Intro to Triathlon Swim and Swim Stroke Development programs, helping athletes achieve greater confidence and performance in the water. She also won the 2024 Coach of the Year award for her work with the Just Tri It program. When she’s not coaching, Christine races at the professional level at IM 70.3 events and previously won the Canadian Master’s Champion for the 800m and 1500m freestyle events – so she knows how to go fast efficiently!
